外国人研究員・教職員で受講を希望する方は、「受講承諾書」を10月2日（金）までにこのフォーム（https://forms.office.com/r/jWza1qQhPi）に提出してください。その際、受け入れ教員（あるいは上長）のサインが必要です。留学生（研究生を含む）の方は、プログラム開始後に「受講承諾書」について連絡します。

To take the course as an international researcher or faculty member, please submit the 'Course Approval Form' to (https://forms.office.com/r/jWza1qQhPi) by Friday, October 2. The form must be signed by the host faculty member (for researchers), department head (for faculty), or supervisor (for staff). International students (including research students) will receive information about the ' Course Approval Form ' after the program begins.

■プレースメントテスト
　Placement Test

次のいずれかの時間帯にテストを受けてください。（登録者には9月25日に連絡します）

9月28日（月） 午後10:30-12:00、午後13:00-14:30

※次に該当する者はプレイスメントテストを受ける必要はありません。

• （１）初級Ｉ(UJ100、まったく、あるいはほとんど日本語についての知識がない者を対象としたクラス）を受講しようとする者。
• （２）過去１年間に全学日本語プログラムを受講し、修了と認められた者（ひとつ上のレベルを受講できる）
• （３）日本語能力試験（JLPT）のN5～N1に合格している者（N5は初級Ⅱ、N4は初中級、N3は中級Ⅱ、N2とN1は上級コースにテストなしで参加可能）。

Take the test at one of the following times. (Registrants will be notified on September 25.)
September 28 (Mon) 10:30-12:00a.m. / 13:00-14:30p.m.

・Students who meet any of the following conditions are not required to take the placement test.

• (1) Those who wish to enroll in the Elementary course (UJ100, For learners who have little or no knowledge of Japanese. Beginning from hiragana and katakana.)
• (2) Those who have passed a University-wide Japanese Language Program course in a previous semester are eligible to proceed to the next level.
• (3) Those who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
  JLPT N5 certification is eligible to register for the Elementary II course, N4 certification is eligible for the Pre-intermediate course, N3 certification is eligible for the Intermediate II course, and N2 or N1 certification is eligible for the Advanced Level course.

FAQ

• Q：それぞれのクラスで、いくつ単位を取得できますか。
• A：このコースは、単位なしのコースなので、単位は取得できません。

• Q：私は新入学生で、機構アカウントと学生番号をもっていませんが、登録できますか。
• A：登録可能です。機構アカウントと学生番号の入力欄は空欄にして、登録を進めてください。

• Q：初級のコースは1週間に3日ありますが、そのうち2日（1日）しか出られません。登録可能ですか。
• A：登録可能です。出席できない日の内容については、自分で勉強を進めてください。

• Q：どのクラスが自分に合ったレベルかわかりません。どのクラスを選んだらいいですか。
• A：このサイトにある「コースのくわしい案内」を見てください。それでもよくわからない場合は、「初級Ⅱ（UJ200）」を選んだうえで、プレイスメントテストを受けてください。

• Q：JLPTのN2を持っているのですが、プレースメントテストを受ける必要がありますか。
• A：プレースメントテストが必要なのは初級・中級コースを受講する者です。N１もしくはN2を持っていて上級コースの受講を希望する人はプレースメントテストを受ける必要がありません。

• Q：登録したクラスをキャンセルしたいのですが、どうしたよいですか。
• A：登録締め切りの前であれば、登録サイトにログインして自分でキャンセル処理をすることが可能です。登録締め切りの後は、TACTの授業サイトに行き、メッセージ機能を使って、担当教員にキャンセルすることを伝えてください。（TACTの授業サイトは新学期が始まる前日からアクセス可能です。）

• Q：How many credits will I earn for each course?
• A：Since this course is a non credit course, you will not receive any credits.

• Q：I'm a new student and I don't have an THERS ID or student ID number yet. Can I still register?
• A：You can register. Please leave the THERS ID or student ID number field blank and proceed with the registration.

• Q：The beginner-level class meets three days a week, but I can only attend two (or one) of those days. Is it still possible for me to register?
• A：You can register. Please study the material for the days you cannot attend on your own.

• Q：I am not sure which class matches my level. Which class should I choose?
• A：Please check the "Course discription" on this site. If you are still unsure, please select "Elementary Japanese Ⅱ (UJ200)" and take the placement test.

• Q：I have an N2 in the JLPT. Do I need to take the placement test?
• A：Placement tests are required for those enrolling in beginner and intermediate courses. Those who have N1 or N2 and wish to enroll in advanced courses are not required to take the placement test.

• Q：I’d like to cancel the class I registered for. How can I do that?
• A：You can cancel your registration yourself by logging into the registration site before the deadline. After the deadline has passed, please go to the TACT course site and use the messaging function to inform the instructor of the cancellation.(The TACT course site will be accessible starting the day before the new semester begins.)
