About Us

Misson

The mission of the Foreign Language Education Division is to help Nagoya University students develop core foreign language competencies, thereby enabling them to contribute to the global development of their respective fields of expertise without regarding language differences as a barrier to their endeavor.

To this end, we will take the following steps:

• 1. Discuss how foreign language education at Nagoya University should progress in the years to come, and produce concrete proposals aimed at making these developments possible.
• 2. Devise and share methods for improving lesson quality, incorporating into these efforts the insights of language education research.
